Leads the monitoring/reviewing of services primarily with HOTBHN divisions as necessary to ensure compliance with portions of the Quality Management Plan, State Contract requirements, and Medicaid/Private insurance billing guidelines which address, at a minimum, the following areas:

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED
  • Ongoing monitoring of the quality of access to services, service delivery, and continuity of services, as reflected in preliminary assessments, individualized service plans and case worker and provider documentation;
  • Measuring, assessing, and improving children and adult services in all the Divisions,  ensuring compliance with contract and statutory requirements, and identifying those services that exceed minimum compliance levels;
  • Establishing and implementing protocols for reviewing all services to determine consistency with the use of child and adult approved evidence-based practices, accuracy of assessments, service planning, and routine monitoring of services by staff who are responsible for developing, monitoring and revising individual service plans.
  • Providing written reports and technical assistance to supervisory staff related to the routine quality oversight activities performed each month, and the outcomes and expected follow-up, if any, of those activities.
  • Providing an internal comprehensive survey for each program Division, each year, with an emphasis on findings from the most recent annual review for the specific program.
  • Monitoring compliance with corrective action plans developed as a result of review findings.
  • Performs related work as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Essential Functions
  • Excellent written communication  and computer keyboarding for inputting clinical documentation
  • Excellent verbal and telephone communication with consumers, staff, and community providers
  • Time management required to meet service goals
  • Regional Travel 5%
  • Stooping, bending, sitting, standing, and keyboarding for prolonged periods, lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to be CPR and PMAB certified
  • Valid driver's license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation required
Education and Experience
 
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology or related field Required
  • 2 year of experience in Case Management in a social services agency Required
  • Other Recovery planning, clinical documentation, rehab/skills training Preferred
  • Knowledge of Mental Health System standards including Texas Administrative Code Preferred
Hours: M-F 8AM-5PM with other as needed

Salary:  $41,975 Annual Salary
