Summary
Industrial Automation has an immediate opening for an experienced CNC Mill machinist with strong setup skills. As a Mill Machinist you should have familiarity with HAAS 3- and 4-axis milling machines and the ability to machine parts per drawing and planning, working cooperatively within the CNC Department as well as other departments to ensure proper fit, function, and quality of machined parts. Must be comfortable with varied, challenging work and small-volume/prototype production.
Compensation
Pay Range: $30.00-$38.00/hour depending on experience.
Hours: Monday-Friday 5:30AM-2:00PM

- Responsible for set-up on 3 axis HAAS vertical machine as assigned by Production Management team.
- Work to program and set-up sheets.
- Verify dimensions at every operation.
- Read and Interpret Drawings and Planning notes, before making a part.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Show respect for equipment and tools.
- Good math skills (above basic machine shop math; preference is knowing geometry, algebra and/or trigonometry).
- 3 to 5 years of CNC Mill (Preferred HAAS 3 Axis Vertical) experience, including set-ups, setting tools, and offsets; and/or equivalent education working in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to use and read precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read commercial and/or military and shop blueprints, diagrams and/or schematics.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge working with various metals: aluminum, steel, titanium to name a few.
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School graduation or GED required.
- Respect and commitment to the job and for coworkers.
- Problem solving abilities.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Steel or composite toed shoes complying with current revision of ASTM F-2413.
