AIPSO is a management organization and service provider for various insurance industry groups responsible for administering the residual market. We are a national organization that serves local customer needs. Centralization and standardization are key to many AIPSO services because of the inherent economies of scale and other efficiencies.  However, our organization is based on customer focus and recognizes the need for flexibility in serving customer groups with diverse interests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform feasibility and cost/benefit analysis necessary to assist with the evaluation of the business value of potential solutions and make recommendations to PMO staff on how to proceed.
• Support internal teams and business sponsors in the design, development, and implementation of e-business initiatives, evaluating resulting outcomes of these initiatives.
• Consult with internal and external customers to define business needs and develop project proposals
• Consult with internal and external customers to define business needs, develop project proposals, and evaluate resulting outcomes of these initiatives and make recommendations accordingly.
• Perform basic research and analysis necessary to assist in project scope definition efforts utilizing standard methodologies and best practices in business analysis and project management.
• Serve as a business-focused liaison between business customer groups and Information Systems.
• Collaborate with Information Systems to assist in the development of solution alternatives that address identified business needs.
• Assist project teams with documenting requirements, defining scope and objectives utilizing the project
management methodology.
• Evaluate functional business requirements as directed by PMO management.

Education
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in an Information Systems focused major is preferred. Additional appropriate experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience
3 or more years of progressive experience in cross-functional business and/or systems analysis role.
Experience with insurance and policy administration systems is preferred. Insurance Industry experience is a plus.

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office productivity tools (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel) to manage
work.
• Effective problem-solving skills, including ability to analyze issues, find the root cause of the problem,
and consider a wide range of alternatives before acting.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively present
information and respond to questions from groups or individuals.
• Ability to multi-task and demonstrate flexibility while maintaining attention to detail.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and interact professionally and effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by being able to follow directions and interpret
customer needs.
• Ability to quickly and efficiently learn existing business procedures that utilize automated systems
and to apply this knowledge to assist with both projects and operational support.

Salary Range
$49,700 - $79,500/$59,400 - $95,000 Annual. Actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; internal equity and other conditions of employment.
