AIPSO is a management organization and service provider for various insurance industry groups responsible for administering the residual market. We are a national organization that serves local customer needs. Centralization and standardization are key to many AIPSO services because of the inherent economies of scale and other efficiencies.  However, our organization is based on customer focus and recognizes the need for flexibility in serving customer groups with diverse interests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•Design, analyze and write detailed and cohesive test plans.
•Create and execute test cases with attention to detail.
•Assist with test planning.
•Accurately and consistently create and maintain documentation.
•Clearly describe system test issues to development and project teams.
•Provide suggestions to the development team for system usability.
•Create and maintain testing documentation and identify opportunities to improve quality and streamline QC process.
•Work collaboratively in a deadline-oriented environment in support of testing systems and websites.
•Ability to work independently and with a team.
•Provide implementation support during cut-over of new systems.
•Set up automated test tools for usage and explore optimization of such tools.
•Escalate issues and provide recommendations and/or resolutions to Quality Control leadership when necessary.
•Keep Quality Control Team apprised of project progress and when issues arise.

Education:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university in a related field preferred. Additional appropriate experience or training may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience:
Three or more years of experience with testing system changes and automated systems, quality testing, and automated business process operations. Experience with policy administration systems preferred. Experience with technology/automation tools is a plus.

Skills & Knowledge:
•Underwriting or Private/Commercial Auto Insurance required.
•Billing experience in the status of accounts and balances along identifying inconsistencies is a plus.
•As a manual tester you will support the development and execution of test cases, test scripts, etc. on our numerous insurance platforms. as we navigate changes/enhancement.
•Ability to produce high-quality test cases from requirements and then focus on execution.
•Openness to ever-changing schedules, types of projects.
•Solid understanding of assigned systems.
•Strong interpersonal and judgment skills.
•Effective problem-solving skills, including ability to analyze complex issues, find the root cause of the problem, and consider a wide range of alternatives before acting.
•Provide feedback and input in group meetings and discussions.

Salary Range:
$61,200 - $97,800 Annual. Actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; internal equity and other conditions of employment.
