AIPSO is a management organization and service provider for various insurance industry groups responsible for administering the residual market. We are a national organization that serves local customer needs. Centralization and standardization are key to many AIPSO services because of the inherent economies of scale and other efficiencies.  However, our organization is based on customer focus and recognizes the need for flexibility in serving customer groups with diverse interests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Manage and direct all phases of multiple and/or complex projects to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed timeframes.
• Lead teams along with business sponsors in the design, development, and implementation of complex business initiatives.
• Negotiate resource requirements; monitor and adjust resources during project execution.
• Consult, collaborate, influence, and negotiate with stakeholders to define business needs and develop high-level program and project objectives.
• Define scope and objectives using the project management methodology including project proposals, detailed project plans and timelines, risk analysis and mitigation.
• Develop, monitor, and adjust project timelines and report regularly on project status; prioritize tasks and deliverables to ensure project timelines and milestones are met.
• Work closely with Scrum team and participate in meetings to track progress against overall project deliverables and timelines.
• Manage stakeholder engagement and communication throughout all project phases, including reporting project status.
• Communicate and escalate issues appropriately through all applicable channels when issues arise.

Education:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university preferred. Additional appropriate experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. PMP Certification or equivalent or willingness to obtain certification.

Experience:
8 or more years progressive management of complex projects. Experience with Agile Frameworks, preferably Scrum and/or SAFe. Agile certification and/or experience in software development and/or digital transformation projects is highly desired. Insurance industry experience and/or familiarity with the residual market is desired. Experience with Change Management and/or Lean Certification is a plus.

• Customer focused and ability to align projects with corporate strategy.
• Ability to work independently and interact professionally and effectively in a team environment.
• Provide leadership by example through feedback and input in group meetings and discussions.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office productivity tools (e.g., Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio).

Salary Range:
$77,300 - $123,500/$92,200 - $147,400 Annual. Actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; internal equity and other conditions of employment.
