AIPSO is a management organization and service provider for various insurance industry groups responsible for administering the residual market. We are a national organization that serves local customer needs. Centralization and standardization are key to many AIPSO services because of the inherent economies of scale and other efficiencies.  However, our organization is based on customer focus and recognizes the need for flexibility in serving customer groups with diverse interests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Follow User Acceptance Testing processes ensuring testing is conducted and results documented to meet quality and testing standards. 
  • With assistance, document end user centric test cases; may assist with design and analysis of test plans focusing on the end user experience.  
  • Work closely with Business System Analysts to execute end user centric test cases with attention to detail.
  • May execute test plans focusing on the end user experience, including identifying, analyzing issues, and documenting test results.
  • Identify and document all bugs discovered during test execution. Communicate the bugs to testing team leader for remediation.
  • May provide suggestions to the project team for system usability.
  • Escalate issues and provide recommendations and/or resolutions to UAT Testing leadership when necessary.
  • May identify process improvements for testing methodology.
  • Keep project team apprised of testing progress and areas where assistance is needed.
Education:
Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.  Additional appropriate experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience:
1 or more years of experience with user acceptance testing or experience testing automated business process operations.  Experience with policy administration systems preferred.  Experience with technology/automation tools is a plus.  

Skills/Knowledge:
  • Basic understanding of assigned systems from a functional and testing perspective, and how the systems interact with each other.
  • Ability to learn test methodologies.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office productivity tools to manage work; conceptual understanding of project management software, PC/database environment, web-based/browser enable applications.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to consider a range of alternatives before acting.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or individuals.
  • Ability to multi-task and demonstrate flexibility while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively in a team environment.
Salary Range:
$42,500 - $67,900 Annual.  Actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; internal equity and other conditions of employment.
