AIPSO is a management organization and service provider for various insurance industry groups responsible for administering the residual market. We are a national organization that serves local customer needs. Centralization and standardization are key to many AIPSO services because of the inherent economies of scale and other efficiencies.  However, our organization is based on customer focus and recognizes the need for flexibility in serving customer groups with diverse interests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with relevant stakeholders to support user acceptance testing that validates policy 
  production documents are
 accurately stated with data and appropriate language.
• Ensure that the forms and documents correspond with business requirements and meets end-
  user expectations.

• Perform content validation, visual validation, and PDF comparison on forms produced by policy
  administration
 systems.
• Focus on major areas of forms testing: layout, content, variance, delivery, and recipient.
• Confirm forms generation on applicable policy transactions for both positive and negative
  conditions.

• Create, run, and maintain user acceptance tests/business scenarios for projects simultaneously.
• Identify and fully document all bugs discovered during test execution and communicate details
  of bugs to developer
 for remediation. Participate in retesting activities as needed.
• Follow processes that ensure all tests are conducted and documented according to the agreed- 
  upon standards.

• Work with other testing resources, communicating the status of testing activities and
  providing testing results.

Education:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university preferred.  Additional appropriate experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. 

Experience:
2 years of testing and insurance operations experience.  Prior experience participating in defining requirements.  Underwriting experience is a plus.

Skills & Knowledge:
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office productivity tools (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe,
  Access) to
 manage work.
• Effective problem-solving skills, including ability to analyze complex issues, find the root cause
  of the
 problem, and consider a wide range of alternatives before acting.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively
  present 
information and respond to questions from groups or individuals.
• Ability to multi-task and demonstrate flexibility while maintaining attention to detail.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, including the ability to plan out project tasks and
  organize
 deadlines according to priorities.
• Ability to work independently and interact professionally and effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and specifically
  quality
 assurance process and test methodologies.
• Demonstrated commitment to on-going insurance education.

Salary Range: $47,100 – $75,300/$56,400 - $90,000 Annual.  Actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; internal equity and other conditions of employment.
