AIPSO is a management organization and service provider for various insurance industry groups responsible for administering the residual market. We are a national organization that serves local customer needs. Centralization and standardization are key to many AIPSO services because of the inherent economies of scale and other efficiencies.  However, our organization is based on customer focus and recognizes the need for flexibility in serving customer groups with diverse interests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:'
  • Support and monitoring our Server, Virtualization, Storage, and Cloud environment, including: Windows Server, VMWare ESXi and SAN Technologies, Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop, SAN Technologies, Microsoft Azure / Office365 / Active Directory.
  • Perform operational duties such as system monitoring, patching and application deployments.  This will be a key function of this role.
  • Develop and update system documentation.
  • Certificate management, management of renewal process.
  • Troubleshoot system and application problems.
  • Collaborate effectively with End Users as well as Network & Security, Application Development, Facilities and Project Management Office staff.
  • Follow up/work on remediation of audit and penetration testing findings.
  • Ability to occasionally work outside of business hours including participation in on-call rotation.
  • Install and upgrade server components and application software.
  • Automation of routine tasks through scripting and automation, ex: PowerShell.

Education:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.  Additional appropriate experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience:
3 or more years' related experience in administration and/or security of computer and network systems preferred.

Skills & Knowledge:
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office productivity tools (e.g. Office 365) to manage
  personal work. 
• Effective problem-solving skills, including ability to analyze complex issues, find the
  root 
cause of the problem and consider a wide range of alternatives before acting.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to
  effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or individuals.
• Ability to multi-task and demonstrate flexibility while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong technical aptitude and stays on top of new technology and industry trends.
• Ability to work independently and interact professionally and effectively in a team
  environment.
• Demonstrate understanding of Windows Server, VMWare, SAN storage concepts, and
  scripting with Powershell.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP networking concepts as well as Firewalls, Switches.

Salary Range: $75,200 - $120,200 Annual.  Actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; internal equity and other conditions of employment.
