Position Summary
Hauptman Ham, LLP, an intellectual property law firm located in Northern Virginia, seeks experienced candidates with industry experience for its patent prosecution practice due to its rapid growth. Capability in telecommunication and circuit technology is a must. Versatility in other technical areas, especially semiconductor processing, is a plus.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Duties may include but not limited to:
Drafting and prosecuting patent applications.


Minimum Education/Certification
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science level degree. USPTO Agent or Attorney registration is required.

Minimum Experience
A minimum five (5) years of prior patent prosecution experience is required. Candidates will preferably have drafted at least 50 patent applications including at least 10 in the telecommunications field; and have experience responding to Office Actions. Proven strong written communication skills required. Strong networking skills required.
