Senior Data Vault Engineer

We are expanding our team and looking for a Senior Data Engineer to contribute to projects with a high-profile healthcare client. You will have the opportunity to make substantial impact on our data engineering endeavors. Senior Data Vault Engineer!

Summary and Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a Data Engineer to assist with the growth of our Data Engineering Practice (best practices, accelerator development, focus on quality and privacy).You will work on key client projects communicating modern data architectures and warehouse strategies to various stakeholders (IT and business).You will balance the development of architecture and engineering. Your initial project will be to implement an Impact Makers defined data strategy for one of our new and growing clients.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

  • Strong track record of data vault engineering(certified)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design appropriate data engineering solutions.
  • Implement and maintain workflows for effective data transformation and modeling, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data pipelines.
  • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake and other relevant technologies.
  • Contribute to optimizing data engineering processes, ensuring high-quality and reliable data outputs.
  • Utilize Snowflake and other relevant technologies to build and maintain data warehousing solutions.
  • Apply Azure services and Python scripting for data engineering tasks as required.
  • Able to travel up to 15% dependent upon client needs.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record in implementing Data Vault 2.0 with the automate_dv package.
  • Strong familiarity with Snowflake (preferred) and/or other data warehousing technologies.
  • Healthcare industry experience is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Azure services and Python scripting is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.
  • Consulting experience.
