Compass Community Credit Union, located in Humboldt County with approximately $150 million in assets has created an exceptional opportunity for a strategic partner/leader to join a stable and well-capitalized credit union managing the Finance and Administrative divisions.
This newly created position will be a direct report to the President/Chief Executive Officer, and an active participant in setting the strategic direction as the credit union continues its momentum of growth, success and expansion opportunities beyond the Northern California market.
The incoming executive will lead the critical areas of Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Risk Management, and Compliance while partnering with key stakeholders on delivering and executing a strategic vision based upon the credit union goals. The executive will direct all financial-related credit union activities in accordance with GAAP, and other regulatory, advisory organizations and practices as appropriate.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting plus ten years of progressive senior management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience within a financial institution is required. The incoming leader must have a proven track record of successfully managing change, process improvement and financial performance at a high-level, thereby, creating opportunities within a results-driven credit union.
