San Diego County Credit Union (SDCCU), located in San Diego, California with over $8.4 billion in assets is in search of an experienced Information Security Manager to oversee key projects, vendor management, and security operations.  This role will be a crucial position within the division, implementing and maintaining security policies, access control processes to accurately achieve best security practices, ensuring regulatory and compliance requirements are in alignment within specified operational business practices.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Chief IT Security Officer, the incoming manager will assist in the protection of the organization’s information systems and computer network from unauthorized access and data loss while maintaining service standards established by the credit union.

This individual will manage the operational security team, assure SDCCU’s security vendor relationships, SLAs and contract terms are met or exceeded.  A collaborative partnership with the Infrastructure and NOC departments is essential in this role to effectively affirm the vulnerability management program is effective.

A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or four years’ equivalent experience is needed. Five years’ of experience supervising or managing IT teams, with three years’ supervising security teams is a requirement of the position. CISSP, CSM, or equivalent certification is preferred.
