Rockland Federal Credit Union has a fantastic opportunity for a human resources professional to join the team as a Human Resources Generalist, reporting to the SVP, Human Resources.

With over $2 billion in assets, located in Rockland, Massachusetts, RFCU is looking for a detail-oriented professional to collaborate with internal and external customers. This individual will be responsible for processing the bi-weekly payroll and performing all ancillary payroll functions and acting as the liaison in coordinating and responding to inquiries related to employee benefits.  Additional duties include; maintaining employee files, coordinating the department’s electronic file conversion project, HR compliance initiatives, annual performance reviews and many other functions in support of the HR department goals and initiatives.

The incoming Human Resources Generalist will bring an enthusiastic perspective in employee training, both internal and external while maintaining training records and HRIS data entry and reporting for the credit union.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 3 years’ experience within a human resources division is required. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.  Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal employment and payroll laws is an essential part of the role.  Solid technical skills are important, including exceptional knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems (ADP preferred) with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel spreadsheets. SHRM Certification is desired, but not required.
