Centered in Margate, Florida, with an asset size of $650 million, We Florida Financial is seeking an emotionally intelligent and strategic AVP of Collections to be a part of the mission-driven institution. The newly created position will oversee the Member Solutions division and provide problem-solving solutions while creating partnerships that foster long-term relationships.

The incoming leader will be an engagement partner in strategic planning, research, and development of new collections processes and services to ensure the Credit Union remains competitive within the market. The AVP of Collections is expected to ask departmental inquiries, question conventional wisdom, and present ideas for implementing new collection practices. This role will work closely with compliance, internal/external auditors, and the Collections and Quality Control team to ensure that Collections and Quality Control adhere to all policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations.

A Bachelor's degree in Business or related field obtained through a formal 4-year program and/or equivalent work experience. Superior written and verbal communication skills are required in this role to cross-sell and train staff on the credit union products and services offered to the membership. The ideal candidate will be well versed in collection practices for consumer, mortgage, and commercial relationships.
