Vice President of Human Resources (Suitland, MD)
Andrews Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Suitland, MD, is actively seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to join its thriving Human Resources division!
The incoming Vice President of Human Resources will assist the Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer in achieving the strategic goals of Human Resources of the credit union, with employees across mulitple states. The Vice President of Human Resources will select best-in-class human resource programs to attract and retain top talent and exceptional employee relations expertise while ensuring compliance with credit union policies and external rules and regulations. In this role, the incumbent will participate in developing department systems, goals, and objectives while also managing department staff and providing management and executive leaders with sound practices aiding as a resource for resolving talent management issues.
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is required. Master's degree preferred. Must have ten years of experience in Human Resources with demonstrated expertise in multiple functional areas, including full-cycle recruitment. Human Resources certification (i.e., PHR, SPHR, CCP, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is preferred. Must have a working knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems. Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
