Director of Cards and Payments (Temple, TX)
Texell Credit Union has created a new role for a strategic and analytical leader to take on the position of Director of Cards and Payments, reporting to the Vice President of Lending!
The Director will manage and oversee Texell's credit and debit card products with cross-functional responsibilities in driving growth through various internal delivery channels. This position operates and reports on profit and loss and drives innovation to create an excellent member service experience and ensure that Texell's plastic offerings are best in class. The incumbent will manage the assigned product lines, set product strategy, and lead new product development. The Director will oversee various Visa credit and debit functions, including adequate card supply and risk management while identifying and analyzing market trends and partnering with multiple departments to increase market share.
The position requires two to five years of similar or related experience, a Bachelor's degree (BA) or equivalent from an acceptable 4-year college or university. Motivating or influencing internal or external senior-level professionals is a critical part of the job, requiring significant influence and trust. Obtaining cooperation and agreement on essential outcomes with frequent complex, senior-level dialogues, and professional written communication skills are necessary for the position.
