Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Administration, the incoming leader will be directly responsible for coordinating, maintaining, and controlling an accounting system that properly reflects the Credit Union's financial position. The Chief Financial Officer monitors the Accounting and Finance divisions, including policies and procedures, and provides improvement recommendations. This individual will function as a member of the Senior Management team and an active participant in establishing and implementing Credit Union initiatives and objectives, serving as a resource in all aspects of the accounting and finance functions.
At least ten (10) years of progressive management experience within a financial institution, Credit Union experience a plus, with three years in a senior or executive management position, is needed. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's degree and CPA designation are preferred. Experience providing guidance on investment decisions with a strong understanding of financial industry concepts, related laws, and regulatory requirements.
