The City of Boston Credit Union has an incredible opportunity for a Chief Financial Officer to join its executive leadership team! The new executive will be a strategic advisor who will counsel the President/CEO and Board of Directors regarding the credit union's internal accounting, financial, and asset/liability management operations.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will direct, oversee, and be responsible for the credit union's financial activities, including planning, controlling, and directing the credit union's accounting, financial, liquidity, and investment programs/systems. The incoming CFO will directly oversee the Asset Liability (ALM) program, which includes Interest Rate Risk, Concentration Risk, Liquidity & Investment measures, and controls. This individual will appraise the Credit Union's financial condition and coordinate the issuance of periodic financial and operating reports that adequately assess and report on the results of operations in conformity with Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP) and Federal Regulations.

A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required, MSA or equivalent, and/or CPA is highly desirable. Must have 5 - 7 years of accounting /finance experience with knowledge of partnering with 3rd party vendors on ALM management. Proven leadership, mentorship, and coaching capabilities are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Software, PowerPoint, and other financial reporting techniques is required. Must have demonstrated acumen in strategy, finance, accounting, ALM, investment strategies, accounting principles, and financial regulations; possess excellent communication skills and have extraordinary integrity and trust.
