Primary function:
This roll is responsible for the electrical control and PLC programming of final test and other manufacturing processes within the remanufacturing of heavy industrial equipment. You will be responsible for the controls, program, interface, and test functionality of the end of line test verification equipment.

  • Specify equipment, solutions, test processes, and modifications.
  • Design safety controls to support a zero incident culture of safety.
  • Design electrical schematics and controls to effetely test remanufactured components to original test specifications.
  • Be a plant and facility reference for electrical systems and equipment (Drives, Motors, Instrumentation, Controls)

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Develop PLC and Controls programming for test equipment.
  • Create drawings as required to support equipment.
  • Specify test equipment and controls
  • Participate in and support the principles of Open Book Management and recognize the responsibilities of being a part owner of the company.

Requirements (including minimum education & years of experience):
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or 5 years automation or industrial electronics experience.
  • 3 years’ experience in Automation, PLC Programming, or Electrical Controls.
  • Able to work with shop floor personnel to transform ideas into successes.
  • Familiar with Wonderware, Factory Talk View, Siemens Step 7, Horner CScape, or CoDeSys Programming.
  • Dyno and large industrial testing experience.
  • Familiarity with OSHA 1910, NFPA 70E, and CE regulations.
  • Strong electrical aptitude.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Understanding of statistical quality as it relates to automotive or industrial manufacturing.
