We are looking for an Application Engineer / Specialist for pipelines, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients to manage their pipelines and executing KenWave business strategies. This inside-based role blends technical sales, condition assessment engineering, and business development, enabling you to drive client engagement, lead presentations, and support the growth of KenWave’s market presence. You will work closely with the Director of Growth to strategize and implement solutions that meet client needs and business objectives.
Specific Accountabilities include:
- Review and interpret client drawings, offering technical insights on project scope and feasibility.
- Deliver KenWave DRI 101 presentations to clients, clearly communicating the value and technical benefits of our technology.
- Serve as the Business Development representative during kick-off meetings and results presentations with clients.
- Prepare and manage technical and commercial proposals, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
- Host client visits and facilitate workshops, demonstrating the capabilities of KenWave’s DRI technology.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing, sales, and product management initiatives.
- Influence and implement strategies for expanding KenWave’s market share in the pipeline condition assessment industry.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to inform business strategy.
Education & Skill Requirements:
- Background in engineering or technical related field.
- Strong technical communication skills with the ability to present complex information to clients in an accessible way.
- Experience in or ability to learn business development and technical sales strategies.
- Proficiency in writing and reviewing technical proposals and documentation.
- Ability to lead client-facing presentations and workshops.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with pipeline condition assessment technologies.
- Previous experience in client facing roles such as technical sales, business development or project management.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot).
