Recruiter
The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing and hiring for multiple technical positions.
How will you contribute to the team?
To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Manage full cycle recruitment including actively sourcing candidates, pre-screening, interviewing and presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers and negotiating offers
- Advise hiring managers on all aspects of the hiring process, including hiring strategies, recruitment cycle timing and guidance on best practices.
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies to meet the hiring requirement including the use of agencies, social media campaigns, job boards and professional networks.
- Support hiring managers post interview by providing input on hiring decisions.
- Source and work with Search Firms when required.
- Leverage all features of LinkedIn to ensure that we are maximizing the use of this tool including use of LinkedIn Recruiter, Recruiting Campaigns etc.
- Leverage the applicant tracking system to manage multiple open positions and candidates.
- Create a positive candidate experience (for both selected and non-selected candidates) throughout the entire recruiting process.
Education and Experience:
- Post secondary education in a related disciple with 3-5 years in Human Resources with a focus on recruiting in a fast-paced environment with a technical focus (Construction, Engineering, Manufacturing)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and good negotiation skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
- Familiarity with an applicant tracking system or other recruitment systems is an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
