Document Control Manager
The Document Control Manager oversees the document control processes for assigned construction projects ensuring that all project documentation is accurately maintained, easily accessible, and compliant with industry standards and regulations.

Document Control Manager
The Document Control Manager oversees the document control processes for assigned construction projects ensuring that all project documentation is accurately maintained, easily accessible, and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
How will you contribute to the team?
To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Establish and maintain document control systems and procedures and monitors these for continuous improvement opportunities.
- Ensure all project documents are properly logged, distributed, and stored.
- Ensure that only approved, current documentation is available for use by all relevant parties.
- Manage the flow of documentation between project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
- Ensure all documentation align with organizational goals and complies with relevant laws, regulations, and project requirements and is delivered within agreed timelines.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure ongoing compliance and quality control.
- Provide training to teams on document control tools and procedures.
- Support project teams in the use of document management systems.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless document flow.
- Address any issues related to document control promptly and effectively.
- Prepare regular reports on document control activities and project documentation status.
- Maintain accurate records of all project documentation. Ensure that document changes are recorded when revisions are made.
- Lead, coach, develop and motivate direct reports. Ensure that performance feedback is provided in a timely manner.
- Manage team morale ensuring that the project team is working cohesively and address issues in a timely manner.
Education and Experience:
- Post secondary education in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years experience in document control within the construction industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in document management software and tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience with coaching and developing staff.
