The Bloor-Yonge Capacity Improvements Project is a significant undertaking by the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) to expand and modernize Bloor-Yonge station – Canada’s busiest subway hub. This initiative is focused on meeting both current and future ridership needs by improving the station’s efficiency, capacity, and accessibility.
The Kenaidan Murphy Joint Venture (KMJV) is committed to transforming the station to enable faster, more reliable, and more comfortable travel throughout the Greater Toronto Area. The project will deliver upgraded facilities, contributing to a safer, cleaner, and higher-capacity subway system for passengers.

Procurement Administrator
The Procurement Administrator provides administrative and coordination support to the Procurement department, ensuring procurement documentation, subcontract administration, purchase orders, vendor information, and project records are maintained accurately and efficiently throughout the project lifecycle.
How will you contribute to the team?
To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Review corporate profile reports to verify vendor and subcontractor information prior to subcontract execution.
- Support the subcontractor prequalification process and communicate findings to Procurement team members.
- Issue, track, and obtain executed agreements, subcontracts, rental agreements, and purchase orders.
- Maintain procurement logs, registers, and tracking systems.
- Create, issue, and process project purchase orders.
- Manage vendor setup and maintain vendor information within the ERP system.
- Assist with collecting, distributing, and maintaining compliance-related documentation.
- Prepare and maintain procurement document control records and master tracking lists.
- Support the preparation of draft agreements and procurement documentation.
- Coordinate subcontractor and supplier corporate information updates, including legal name and address changes.
- Assist with weekly procurement reporting and status updates.
- Maintain procurement filing systems and electronic document databases.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and meeting minutes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and commercial processes.
Education and Experience:
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Legal Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- Paralegal studies with exposure to construction or contract law.
- Civil Engineering Technology (CET) or Architectural Technology diploma.
- 2+ years of experience in procurement administration, contract administration, project administration, or document control.
- Experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering, transit, or industrial projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with purchase orders, subcontracts, vendor management, and procurement documentation.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and document management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Understanding of construction contracts, purchase orders, and procurement processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of construction contract administration, procurement procedures, and industry compliance requirements.
- Experience working on collaborative Design-Build, Alliance, or Joint Venture projects is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with Ontario construction legislation and contract practices is an asset.
Salary Range: Between $80,000 to $100,000 depending on experience.
