We are looking for a Sewing Machine Operator to play a key role in furthering our mission in our Sewing Contracts area.

Summary/Objective:
Reporting to the Sewing Supervisor, the Sewing Machine Operator will Sew items on industrial sewing machines.  Step by step assembly and prep work.  To provide assistance with all contracts including and not limited to Sewing. To fulfill mission statement.

Job Competencies:
Must be able to operate sewing machine to sew fabric/textiles for contracts.  Must be able to clean and oil machine.  Meet all ISO standards.  Able to sew all various products with minimal error.  Performs all essential functions of Sewing Machine Operator I and II. Must be in top percentage of volume producers.

Education/Experience:
No minimum requirements set. Prefer GED or high school diploma. Prefer individual who has had some experience in industrial sewing.

Individual must have a minimum of three years’ experience in industrial sewing.  Must be able to sew all parts of various Goodwill products with minimal errors. Must maintain high attendance record. Can produce finished product with minimum or no supervision. Must be in the top percentage of volume producers.
