Cline Family Cellars is a family-owned and operated certified sustainable winery in Sonoma, California. Built on a passion for winemaking and rooted in respect for the land, Cline is known for producing highly lauded Zinfandels, Rhone-style wines and classic varieties sourced from our vineyards in Sonoma-Carneros, Petaluma Gap and Oakley, California.

JOB SUMMARY
As Graphic Designer, you will lead print design process from conceptualization to delivery for the company’s portfolio of wine brands and The Olive Press. You must be able to multi-task, adjust creative based on feedback from stakeholders and meet tight deadlines. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, this position collaborates with Digital Marketing, Sales, DtC, Operations and Winemaking.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead creation of all print design according to brand standards for wholesale sales and DtC
  • Ensures that projects are completed according to timelines and actively communicates about progress
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and provide expertise in all areas of design including layout, type, color and style composition
  • Design all packaging including updates and improvements and sales materials, POS, brand advertising, and shelf promotions
  • Manage packaging proofing process to include labels, shippers, closures to ensure accuracy before printing. Attend press checks when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS - Experience, knowledge and skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design/Visual Arts or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of professional graphic design experience
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite applications
  • Knowledge of printing processes and techniques
  • Must present portfolio of professional and published creative work samples
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to work closely and collaboratively with others
  • Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple projects and priorities under tight timelines
