Cline Family Cellars is a leading Sonoma family-owned and operated certified sustainable winery. Built on a passion for winemaking and rooted in respect for the land, Cline is known for producing highly lauded Zinfandels, Rhone-style wines and classic varieties sourced from owned vineyards in Sonoma-Carneros, Petaluma Gap and Oakley, California. We are seeking an innovative individual who is a true storyteller to take ownership of digital marketing and ecommerce initiatives for Cline Family Cellars, Jacuzzi Family Vineyards and The Olive Press.  

What you will do
  • Drive email marketing campaigns from beginning to end including planning, content creation, targeting, scheduling, and analyzing
  • Manage ecommerce by adding new products and editing existing, creating promotional codes, analyzing performance and making recommendations to optimize
  • Regularly update website content, audit for accuracy, and incorporate best practices for SEO, improve UX and assist with maintaining listings on partner websites
  • Protect brand standards in the development and execution of all digital marketing activities
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams including Marketing, Design, Events and DtC
  • Strive to evolve and expand the company’s digital presence, while keeping abreast of marketing and wine industry trends
  • Work in a team environment with a collaborative spirit and a love for brainstorming
What you will bring
  • 2+ years of experience in email and/or e-commerce marketing environment
  • Have a strong understanding of the customer journey, from first-impression to post-purchase
  • In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics, CRM, SEO, website content management. Added bonus if you know your way around Hubspot, Mailchimp, ModX, Wordpress and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Demonstrated content creation and creative writing skills
  • Understand how to source and leverage different types of content
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Solid technical skills and ability to pick up new tools as necessary
  • Fantastic time/output management with strong work ethic and a sense of urgency
  • Ability to apply data and insights to strategy to help drive results and identify opportunities
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS
  • Experience with consumer products or consumer-oriented marketing campaigns—planning, creating, editing, and publishing quality content that speaks to multiple audiences/target demographics
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs
