SUMMARY
Promote Cline Cellars and Jacuzzi Family Vineyards through hospitality and special events. Schedule and implement all aspects of event activities at the Cline properties. Provide an exceptional guest experience through events at Cline and Jacuzzi.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales and Marketing:
  • Execute strategies set forth by the Director of Events for special events sales.
  • Collaborate with Director of Events to develop new programs and improve existing programs within the department.
  • Work with Director of Events to develop strategies for increased event sales to meet department and company objectives
  • Collaborate with Tasting Room and Wine Club to increase wine sales through special events
  • Promote paid bookings at the Cline Villa
  • Network with hospitality community and leaders to promote Cline Cellars & Jacuzzi Family Vineyards

Event Management:
  • Oversee planning, management and implementation of public, private and in-house events at Cline Cellars, Jacuzzi Family Vineyards and the Cline Villa
  • Schedule events and negotiate contracts
  • Prepare event layouts, all event documentation including staff instructions and signage, and invoices
  • Work with other departments, vendors and outside resources to manage facility use and resources.
  • Schedule, train and supervise event staff
  • Oversee private and VIP reservations at the Cline Villa
  • Work with Director of Events to oversee housekeeping and maintenance at the Cline Villa
  • Develop and prioritize needed improvements to enhance client’s experience and increase revenue
  • Train and become proficient in winery POS and reservation systems
  • Follow department procedures with urgency while planning and overseeing multiple venues and events
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing winery events
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Strong managerial skills
  • Knowledge of wine, viticulture and wine production a plus
  • Spanish speaking a plus

  • Frequent walking on level and unlevel surfaces
  • Occasional bending, twisting and climbing
  • Ability to occasionally kneel, crouch and crawl
  • Occasional reaching above and below shoulder

  • Ability to push or pull 0-50 pounds occasionally, and over 50 pounds intermittently
