Harvest Cellar Worker (Sonoma, CA)
SUMMARY
We are in looking for part-time and full-time Harvest Workers to join our team at Cline Family Cellars and Jacuzzi family Vineyards for Harvest 2023!
Starting early August full-time seasonal employees will have 40 hrs. a week increasing to 60+ hrs. during the peak of harvest September, through October to the beginning of November. Work will include evenings and weekends.
Wine industry experience is not required. This is a hands-on position working in the winery on pump-overs, punch-downs, cleaning cellar equipment and tanks, assisting on the crush pad, filling barrels.
We are looking for people who work independently with minimal supervision and with our established cellar team, pay attention to detail and have the ability to perform repetitive tasks.

Pay Range: $17.50 - $20/hour (DOE)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must be available to work from mid-August through mid-November
- Have a reliable transport to work
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to climb stairs, stoop, bend, and lift.
- Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work Outdoors
- Must be over 21 yrs. old
- Be eligible to work legally in the US
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Previous harvest/winery or vineyard experience (preferred)
- College degree (preferred)
- Basic computer skills (preferred)
- Spanish proficiency (preferred)
Physical Demands
- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, crawl and walk.
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
- Identify and distinguish colors.
- Ability to pull or push objects over moderate distances.
