The full-time Landscape and Events Crew supports the daily maintenance and appearance of winery grounds while assisting with the setup and breakdown of winery events. SUMMARY

This role involves consistent outdoor work, teamwork, and flexibility, including the ability to work weekends and holidays, to ensure the property is well-maintained and event-ready year-round.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Landscaping Duties:
- Check, troubleshoot and assist in repair of irrigation systems
- Keep winery gardens and grounds, guest venues and pathways clear and well-maintained
- Assist as needed in controlling weeds, pruning, planting
- Maintain and water container plants
- Assist in pond maintenance
- Minor equipment maintenance
- Ability to use leaf blower, weed eater, and mower
- Able to drive a company vehicle to and from
Event Duties:
- Event assistance with set-up/clean-up of chairs and tables, lighting, umbrellas and tents before and after events
- Maintain venues, clear pathways, check garbage receptacles
- Must possess a valid and current California driver’s license and be eligible for insurability under the company’s vehicle insurance policy
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years old
- Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping a plus
- Experience operating lawn maintenance equipment, such as lawnmowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers preferred
- Ability to communicate conversationally in both English and Spanish preferred
Physical Demands
- Continuous standing. Frequent walking on uneven surfaces and on even surfaces.
- Occasional driving/Operating foot control.
- Frequent bending, twisting and reaching above and below shoulder level.
- Frequent kneeling and crawling may be required, as well as occasional climbing.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and occasionally lift 21-50 pounds.
- Ability to carry up to 20 pounds frequently and occasionally carry 21-50 pounds. May be required to carry 50 pounds infrequently.
- Ability to push or pull up to 20 pounds frequently and occasionally push or pull 21-50 pounds. May be required to push or pull up to 50 pounds infrequently.
- Able to work in all kinds of weather (rain, cold, wind, heat, sun).
