We are looking for a  Part-time Bookkeeper to join our Corporate office!

POSITION OBJECTIVE
Assist Controller with all accounting responsibilities. Assist with payroll process.

REQUIREMENTS
  •  Responsible for the overall administration of the accounts payable process including invoice review, coding and data entry to accounting system, payment terms, preparation of checks and file maintenance.
  • Negotiates with vendors and reconciles vendor statements.
  • Assists with preparation of “special request” checks.
  •  Weekly Administration Payroll.  Communicates with administrative employees regarding travel and other reimbursements.
  • Assists with general ledger entries.  Prepares spreadsheet account analysis as requested.
  • Assists with all banking activities including the bank reconciliation functions.
  • Plays a key role in Admin payroll by accurately entering Admin payroll information into the system.
  •   Assists with the maintenance of the financial files
  • Functions as a customer services representative in all interactions with caregivers and in-office employees.  Has knowledge of and adheres to all Company policies associated with data integrity, maintenance and confidentiality.
  • Performs stop payment functions on-line and subsequent re-issue of checks as needed.
  •  Takes care of the expenses of the building.
  • Runs Margin Report in SAM.  Detects errors and forwards findings to the Branch/Billing Department for   follow-up.
  • Other duties as needed

Education and Experience
  • The candidate for this position will have a high school diploma or equivalent and three years of billing/payroll and systems experience, preferably in a health care environment. 
  • Good organizational skills, and attention to detail are requisite for success in this position. 
  • Candidate must have computer skills and be proficient in data
  • Candidate must have medium-to-advanced Excel skills.
