Freelance Translator-English US-Albanian (Remote-Anywhere)

Position Overview

We are currently seeking experienced Linguists to support an upcoming opportunity within the healthcare sector.

This role involves QA and Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) of clinical and patient-related communications, including appointments, prescriptions, and general healthcare documentation.

We are particularly interested in the following language combinations:

• English US to Albanian
• Albanian to English US

Responsibilities

• Perform MTPE and quality assurance tasks as needed
• Be responsive to emails and/or phone calls
• Manage multiple assignments and meet short turnaround times while maintaining high-quality work.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect the integrity of sensitive information.

Requirements

• Must use Word and PDF
• Experience with Trados Studio and MemoQ preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a translator
• Experience in Medical / Life Sciences (clinical or patient-facing content preferred)
• Experience with proofreading and editing is a plus
• Successful completion of a short healthcare terminology test
