• Coordinate product shipment with freight companies and customers; working with vendors and customers to maintain the highest level of customer service.  Enter all receipts into the computer inventory systems.
  • Receives and processes incoming and outgoing orders. Verifies contents of incoming purchased goods against supplier packing lists.  Compare verified contents with expected incoming purchase orders.  Tracks orders and backorders.
  • Responsible for the effective flow of the shipping and receiving area, inventory control; providing ideas for continuous improvement to the supervisor.  Prepares items to be relocated to general inventory.
  • Operates a forklift and other material handling equipment to load/unload trucks; and move materials.
  • Maintains accurate records of warehouse inventory, reporting discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Coordinate and maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.   

Reports to:         Director of Operations and Facilities

Physical Requirements
This position requires includes bending, reaching, stooping, twisting, standing, pushing, and pulling.  Lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required with assistance if needed.  May be subject to environmental conditions, assisting outdoors or indoors in varied temperatures of hot and cold.

Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications
  • Required Education         High School Diploma or Equivalent  
  • Prior warehouse experience is required.
  • Experience working with inventory management systems is preferred.
  • The ability to safely operate a forklift is required.
