Luxe Hotels is a small boutique hotel chain in the Los Angeles area that is in the midst of making changes to take the operation to the next level. Are you a passionate human resources professional who loves helping people? Then the Human Resources Generalist is a position for you.  This role will contribute to the implementation of new systems, policies/procedures, and controls within the department and organization.


The Human Resources Generalist reports to the Regional Director of Human Resources and will oversee recruitment, onboarding and retention of company staff. This role is also responsible for HR administrative functions, including employee benefits, culture training, recordkeeping, and documentation. The Human Resources Generalist is directly involved in overseeing and maintaining compliance with required workplace practices, safety and consistent accurate documentation. This position also monitors employee and workplace morale and satisfaction while maintaining a positive company culture. 

Full Time, Non-Exempt
Experience - 2-3 Years in Human Resources
$45,000 - $50,000/Year BOE
Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(k), employee meal, parking, phone allowance

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in business administration or hospitality.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
  • Two - Three years minimum human resources experience in hospitality/restaurants.
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  
  • HRIS experience required, Paycom and/or TAM a plus.                        
  • Extensive knowledge of CA human resources law and HR policies in general.    
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Typing - 60 wpm
