One of our clients is seeking an experienced Estimator to correspond with customers, attend project walkthroughs, perform quantity take-offs and other estimating duties. 

Duties/Requirements:
  • Seasoned estimator with experience specific to asbestos abatement, lead abatement, mold remediation & demolition.
  • Attend project walkthroughs and manage all correspondence with project team & vendors during bidding process
  • Create, develop & maintain relationships to benefit the company
  • Perform cost analysis of projects when requested
  • Review bid documents & manage all correspondence with project teams
  • Process project specific submittals
  • Work with insurance carriers, as needed, to secure bid bonds
  • Work closely with Project Managers throughout projects to review & discuss projects costs vs. estimate

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 10 years of relevant estimating experience
  • Experience in the environmental remediation and/or demolition industry highly preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and efficiency skills
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement to identify and solve problems in a timely manner
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities
  • Must maintain confidentiality and ensure all documentation is securely stored
  • Intermediate use of accounting software – knowledge of Foundation Software a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Experience with SharePoint, MS Project, PowerPoint
