The Service Rig Operator plays an important role in working with the Company President and the Field Operations Manager to ensure that projects are executed to specification in a safe and timely manner. They provide daily management of all company personnel on a job site. They ensure that all personnel on a job site are operating in an efficient and safe manner and following all safety protocols.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Service Rig Operator is accountable for the following activities…
- Operate the Rig in a safe and effective manner.
- Meet with Field Operations Manager to confirm necessary job site staffing and skill sets needed.
- Ensure that all job site staffing and needed equipment are ready and to work on time.
- Mediate between Field Operations Manager and Company representative to find workable solutions that appeal to both parties; remain open-minded to solutions.
- Manage job site production rates to ensure that the goals of the job are being met.
- Maintain a daily job site report and ensure the accuracy of the report
- Hold a safety meeting with everyone present at the beginning of each shift before any work is conducted
- Coordinate all Jobsite services and activities
- Ensure that all equipment is being operated in a safe and effective manner.
- Ensure that all personnel on the jobsite are adhering to all jobsite and company safety procedures
- Ensure that the proper PPE is being always worn and used properly
- Ensure that all repairs are being made to the equipment during downtime or slow time so that the equipment is ready to go directly to the next job. Coordinate with the shop if repairs are needed that could not be performed in the field
- 5+ years' experience as a Service Rig Operator in the Gas and Oil industry field
- Excellent communicator and not afraid to address safety or other job-related concerns.
- Ability to work with numerous contractors and sub-contractors in a safe and efficient manner
