Job Summary: Mitchell Design Build is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Experienced Laborer/Carpenter to join our dynamic team. This role involves actively participating in commercial construction projects by providing skilled carpentry services at various job sites within the local area. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, with proficiency in at least one trade, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as required by each project. Key Responsibilities:

1. Execute skilled carpentry tasks according to project requirements, including but not limited to framing, installation of fixtures, cabinetry, and finishing work.
2. Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and adherence to project specifications.
3. Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools, as well as other equipment necessary for carpentry and construction work.
4. Participate in site preparation activities, including demolition, cleanup, and material handling, as needed.
5. Adhere to established safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure working environment for oneself and fellow team members.
6. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail in all assigned tasks.
7. Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to facilitate smooth project execution and address any issues or concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a commercial carpenter or similar role, with a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in carpentry and construction.
2. Proficiency in at least one trade within the carpentry field, such as framing, cabinetry, trim work, or finish carpentry.
3. Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents to effectively execute assigned tasks.
4. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools commonly used in commercial construction projects.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
6. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute to various job sites within the local area.
7. Commitment to upholding safety standards and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries on the job.
