Job Title: Materials Management and Restoration Coordinator

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Material Management and Restoration Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the Gas Division’s materials are procured, tracked, and delivered for each project to stay on track. The individual in this position will also keep track of costs to ensure each project stays within budget. Remediation and restoration requirements are followed and adhered to as per the established project requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Orders, picks up, and delivers all necessary parts and equipment to job sites and centrally located warehouse sites.
- Maintains current list of materials on hand at various storage locations and crew vehicles.
- Keeps current cost comparison of material cost vs. bid amount.
- Assists with material procurement and job setup.
- Communicates with foreman regularly to maintain current and future workflow.
- Geographical location includes several blanket contract areas including Clarence, Orchard Park, and Batavia
- Coordinates restoration of completed jobs which involves communicating with property owners in a timely manner including scheduling and addressing customer complaints.
- Employee reports directly to job site on a daily basis
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Previous material management experience
- Have no lifting or physical restrictions.
- OSHA 10 Certification a plus, will train.
- Work outdoors year-round in all types of weather
- Equipment knowledge
- Demonstrate safe and proper use and maintenance of all company tools and equipment.
- Certified Excavator Program
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift and move heavy parts and equipment (up to 50 pounds or more).
- Stamina to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise tasks.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
- Good vision, including close-up and peripheral vision, for detailed inspections.
- Hearing ability to diagnose engine and equipment noises.
