Role Summary
Serving the needs of the business, our guests and our colleagues by working different events on the property by serving food and beverages to guests.  Join our team and become one of the authors of our story.  

Key responsibilities for this position are:
  • Guide guests in all phases of their experience at the Banquet event.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
  • Knowledgeable about service requirements for assigned functions such as: pre-function side work, detailed menu selections, major ingredients, appearance, texture, quality standards, garnish and method of presentation, proper food and beverage service.
  • Greet guests as they arrive and assist them with seating at tables.
  • Set up, monitor, refresh and breakdown coffee breaks, receptions and buffet tables for specified functions according to group requirements.
  • Follow the sequence of service utilizing all proper procedures standardized by the Banquet Management Team and Banquet Captain.
  • Anticipate the guest's needs and respond promptly.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Required Qualifications
  • Excellent guest service and hospitality skills
  • Able to multi-task several activities and duties simultaneously
  • Able to function and act independently
  • Able to work well with people, in a team environment, and to communicate effectively both written & verbal
  • Able to function in a fast-paced environment, under short time constraints, and within established deadlines
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
  • Minimum 1 year prior experience as a server or banquet server
  • Responsible Beverage Certification and Food Handler Certification

Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in a similar setting

$15.50/hour plus tips
