The Room Service Supervisor is supervisory position overseeing the In Room Dining, Sky Terrace and Pool. The Supervisor will be responsible for selecting, training, coaching, and disciplining all employees in these departments to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met. Able to deal positively with challenging situations. Must have experience in customer service conflict resolution. They will be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good relations, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts. They will oversee all facets of the outlet, ensuring consistent and thoughtful service from all employees. This position will report to the Director of Restaurants and Bars. They will also assist with scheduling, payroll and other managerial duties as needed. They will manage all daily activities as well as the strategic plan for In Room Dining and Pool. Previous supervisory experience in Food and Beverage setting is required. Previous In Room Dining experience is preferred. Previous experience in a luxury hotel setting preferred. College education or equivalent experience required. Previous experience with MICROS or other POS system preferred. Must have proficient computer skills. The successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, ability to work morning, afternoon, or evening shifts, weekends, and holidays. You will attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and partnership between departments. Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed. Must be fluent in English and possess legal work authorization in the United States.
