Pennsylvania Chemicals is a world scale petrochemicals facility to be constructed in Monaca, Pennsylvania, USA – thirty miles north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  The project is divided with two scopes: ISBL and OSBL.  The ISBL scope is the supply of 1.5 MTPY Ethane Cracker Unit and three Polyethylene units.  The OSBL is the supply of the rest of the facility, the cogeneration unit, rail and utilities that are needed to support the rest of the facility. The project will be performed predominantly on a direct hire basis with some specialty and service subcontractors. 

Job Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of preservation reports as required.
  • Initiation of preservation inspections in GoPreserve upon receipt of equipment.
  • Ensuring inspection checklists are loaded into GoPreserve before equipment arrives at site
  • Tracking of equipment deliveries to site.
  • Amends equipment checklists to meet project preservation requirements
  • Some basic equipment inspections may be required.
  • GoPreserve support for the module yards and home office may be required
  • Liaising with BPS coordinator and procurement to ensure equipment arrivals are tracked/documented
  • Monitors overdue preservation activities and communicates deficiencies to the preservation manager.
  • Ensures preservation tablets are up to date with the most recent software updates.
  • Maintains a positive relationship with the client and their representatives.
  • Adjusts inspection sequencing in GoPreserve based on construction needs.
  • Perform other duties as necessary. 

Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent. College degree valued but not required.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a construction environment preferred.
  • Technical knowledge of software applications preferred.
  • Must adhere to the project goal zero philosophy.
  • Proficient in the ability to lead and manage change.
  • Displays effective communications skills, and presents plans in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong experience in liaising with multiple disciplines, coordinating Mechanical material, and preservation resources to support multiple work fronts.
  • Experience with QEDI software valued but not required.
  • Well-developed computer skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Experience working in a union environment.
