Concrete Construction Laborer (Redding, CA)

QUALIFICATIONS:
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
The laborer is responsible for moving material such as lumber, bending rebar, setting up forms, stripping forms, placing concrete, grading, and general clean up on the project.
SKILL, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
Possess the ability to follow instructions as directed by Foreman/Superintendent.
Possess ability to operate hand tools and power tools such as a hammer, tape measure, pliers, shovel, pick, rotohammer, vibraplate, jack hammer, digging bar, blower, etc.
This is a safety sensitive position.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Primarily outdoor activity during all seasons.
Environment also includes work around motor vehicles, and moving equipment.
This job position often requires working long hours from early morning to late night.
Compensation package includes: 401(k), 5 paid days off per year, and health, dental and vision insurance after 6 months of continuous service.
Any offer of employment will be conditional upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen (based on state of CA illegal substances) and a background check.

- 18 years old
- Minimum of 1 year construction experience
- Understand and follow company safety policies
- Must be able to travel and work out of town during the week. Muse Concrete offers fuel reimbursement, lodging and per-diem (meal allowance) while working out of town.
- Must be able to report to work on time and work all hours required of the job, including overtime.
