Come work in our award-winning Assisted Living Community.  Summerfield of Hammond is looking for dedicated and compassionate CNA's/RA's to provide the highest standard of care excellence to our residents. Work each day in a unique, rewarding environment with a culture that values teamwork and support and room for growth.  We are hiring full-time/part-time for 7am-3 pm and 3-11pm. 
Rate CNA - $14.00, RA - $12.00 hourly with a Shift Differential on the weekends.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting residents with ADL's and various forms of daily care according to their specific needs
• Monitor and document vital signs per policy
• Assist in maintaining resident care records by documenting timely and appropriately in the electronic record system
• Provide companionship and positive interaction daily with residents
• Work with other departments to provide a full scope of care to our residents daily

Skills:

• CPR certification is a must
• Ability to take vital signs, document and report to nursing staff as applicable
• Prior experience in working with geriatric population if preferred
• Physical ability to walk, stand, bend and lift
• Must be able to socially interact with with resident in a compassionate and meaningful manner
• Dependability, punctuality and good work ethic is an absolute must  

Pay rate:

Rate: CNA - $14.00 / RA -  $12.00 hourly with a Shift Differential on the weekends
