Associate Director of Catering & Events
Start your next chapter as our Associate Director of Catering & Sales and bring dreams to life at Mauna Lani. He or she will be a senior leader and active member of the team providing support to the events team and managing luxury catering and events. This role will have a focus on development of the Mauna Lani weddings and social event program and be “the face” of weddings and events in the eyes of vendors, planners, and clients. This individual will be responsible for the sale, planning, and service of catering events on and off property as well as the development of tools and concepts to enrich the leadership team and maximize revenue generation and productivity. This position requires consistent attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, as well as effective verbal and written communication capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, is innovative, creative, results driven with a desire to exceed customer expectations. A minimum of 2 years selling experience directly related to weddings and social catering strongly preferred. Previous experience with luxury brands preferred. Must be adaptable and able to work across all departments to detail each event and ensure flawless execution.
