Boat Captain
Our Boat Captain will execute a dynamic Hawaiian boating experience that blends fresh air, sunshine, nature, and ocean-curated activities. This person must thoroughly love the outdoors, teaching and being with people. The ideal candidate is friendly, patient, thoughtful and helpful. He or she will be responsible for ensuring the safety of the crew, passengers, and equipment based on good judgment. The captain oversees the boats safe and efficient operation, including navigation, crew management, and ensuring that the vessel complies with local and international laws, and company standards. All persons on board, including crew, other staff members, passengers, and guests are under the captain's authority and are his or her ultimate responsibility. Previous experience in Hawaiian waters and deep-sea fishing is highly preferred.
Position Requirements: United States Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Master Credential 50 Tons or greater upon near coastal waters. Marine Radio Operator Permit. FIRST AID / CPR certified. Current Department of Transportation TWIC card. Expert knowledge and experience maneuvering and maintaining boats.
