The Credit Manager is accountable for the entire credit granting process, including the consistent application of a credit policy, periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers, with the goal of optimizing the mix of company sales and bad debt loss. They are responsible for overseeing the entire cycle of Accounts Receivable including the securing of deposits, compiling of all necessary backup, production of a composed invoice and collection of final payments. In addition, this individual is fully responsible for the A/R Aging maintenance, as well as Guest Ledger cleanliness. He or she will ensure group commissions are processed and any cancellation or attrition is calculated, billed and collected. This individual will also possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, good business acumen and be able to adapt to the fast-paced needs of the operation.
Applicants are required to have at least 3 years of credit or finance experience in a related setting. A bachelor’s degree in business and experience with credit scoring systems preferred. This position is based on Hawaii Island (Big Island).
