You will be responsible for ensuring that all guests are delighted by the quality, creativity, and variety of our food and beverage offerings. This role directs and ensures flawless execution of all our culinary products for our on-site restaurants, in-room dining services, banquets, and market by serving luxurious cuisine with vibrancy and style.  The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, embody professionalism, flexibility, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.  We are looking for a dynamic person that not only has a strong business acumen with attention to detail but also the ability to forecast accuracy and pace preparation.  

  • Actively creates and implements innovative and unique menus in all outlets, private dining, and banquet operations. 
  • Actively interacts with guests in the restaurants, banquets, and site inspections to ensure that all personal preferences, special occasions, etc. are understood and that guest satisfaction is fully maximized.
  • Works under the direction of the Director of Food and Beverage to determine price strategy throughout the entire division to maximize profitability and achieve budget goals.
  • Works with Executive Sous Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure that all food is tastefully prepared as scheduled, portions are controlled per specification, and plates are properly garnished and attractively presented.
  • Conducts on-going training sessions with culinary service personnel to increase their knowledge and capabilities in the culinary services area.
  • Delegates and holds responsible administrative support for the completion of labor reports, payroll, scheduling and other administrative duties.

  • Minimum; 5 years experience in a similar position, in a related setting with supervisory responsibilities.

  • Graduate of professional Culinary program from accredited institution.
  • Previous experience in luxury resort property as an Executive Chef for at least two years. International experience that includes Garde Manger, Banquets, or Chef Tournant positions.
