Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Cultural Center will serve as the point of contact for our guests and team members by coordinating unique cultural heritage program experiences for those who visit Kalāhuipua`a. The Cultural Practitioner reports to the Director of Living Culture, and interfaces with resort management and ownership to ensure the highest level of quality of cultural-historical program opportunities are offered.
The Cultural Practitioner will be the primary point of contact for island guests, answering questions and providing them with access to the natural and cultural history of Kalāhuipua`a and the island of Hawai`i; provide cultural enrichment programs (i.e., background in native lore, traditional cultural practices, chants and music) to enrich the experience of those who visit the storied landscape of Kalāhuipua`a and support learning initiatives for staff members in cultural-historical skills, and sharing the history of Kalāhuipua`a-Mauna Lani and Hawai`i.
