DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


·   Perform a wide range of duties involving installation, assembly, repair and general     
    maintenance of equipment, machines, buildings, grounds and facilities.

·   Disassemble, diagnose and repair damaged mechanisms or replace defective parts.

·   Select Material best for the job requirements.

·   Perform ordinary hand operations in the fitting and mating of component parts and construct as  
    necessary to meet the specific job requirements.

·   Work involves a wide range of maintenance including carpentry, plumbing, some electrical, hydraulic 
    and mechanical applications as well as janitorial duties as needed.

·   Diagnose and remedy problems quickly on regular and emergency repairs.

·   Must requisition own supplies for each job.

·   Must be able to work with tight tolerances and be able to skillfully operate engine lathes, milling
    machines, surface grinders, brake presses and related equipment.

·   Must be able to operate forklifts and be able to safely rig and move equipment.

·   Must be able to work with or around work hazards such as: high voltage, elevated working spaces up to    
    twenty five feet, dangerous chemicals, explosive gases and enclosed spaces.

·   Perform non-production welding, brazing and soldering as necessary for repair and fabricating
    requirements.

·   Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow standard safety
    practices and regulations.

·   Must have a good attendance history and be willing to work overtime.

·   Must provide own tools to perform work.

·   Should lead by example and be prompt and courteous to others.

·   Must act in a professional manner at all times and be able to work with minimal supervision.
