Quality Technician 1 (Indianapolis, IN)
Responsibilities and Duties:
3+ years’ experience inspecting product or working in a material lab
- Follow relevant MTTM procedures and the MTTM Quality Policy
- Complete in-process and final inspection
- Perform tensile testing of powder metallurgy specimen
- Characterize tungsten powder and input results into a database
- Stamp, label, and wrap product to customer requirements
- Prepare metallurgical samples and analyze the microstructure
- Assist with data input
- Adhere to all Safety Policies established by MTTM.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by MTTM management
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Related experience in a manufacturing or inspection environment
- Enthusiasm and independence to complete tasks without micromanagement

- Physical Requirements:
- Satisfy and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative productivity and quality standards.
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Communicate effectively.
