Responsibilities
  • Supervises and Manages 10-20 employees.
  • daily schedules, employee shifts, time-off requests, and daily performance of duties related to manufacturing output and department workload
  • Assign duties to employees and oversee their progress
  • Ensure that daily production goals are met
  • Train, Coach, and mentor, employees and conduct performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and employee counseling.
  • Ensure industry rules and regulations are followed
  • Resolve conflicts between employees, and or complaints
Requirements and skills
  • Previous experience as a supervisor or similar role
  • Full understanding of industry safety standards
  • Comprehensive knowledge of basic software, such as Microsoft office
  • The ability to meet the physical demands of the job, such as standing up for long hours and lifting heavy loads occasionally
  • Working well within a team
  • Ability to multitask 
  • Leadership and conflict-management skills
Top candidates will also have:
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Demonstrate consistency, accountability, reliability, and solid work ethic
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of manufacturing and inventory software, internet, Excel spreadsheet, and Microsoft office.
