Job Overview:
Set up and operate a variety of computer-controlled and mechanically controlled machine tools to produce precision metal parts, instruments, and tools.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

•    Follow relevant MTTM procedures and the MTTM Quality Policy
•    Interpret drawings for manufacture of tooling, jigs, and fixtures. 
•    Specify material requirements and order material when required. 
•    Build and maintain tooling, jigs, and fixtures.  
•    Complete additional duties as assigned by MTTM management. 

Minimum Qualifications:

•    High school diploma or GED equivalent 
•    3 to 5 years minimum experience in machine shop environment 
•    3 to 5 years minimum experience in Tool & Die making

Preferred Qualifications:

•    Journeyman
•    5 to 10 years’ experience in machine shop environment 
•    5 to 10 years’ experience in Tool & Die making.

Physical Requirements: 

•    Satisfy and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative productivity and quality standards. 
•    Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
•    Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
•    Communicate effectively.
